Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and patient behavior changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and position changes to prevent pressure ulcers
- Support residents with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain clean, safe environments through proper sanitation and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement personalized care plans
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Basic computer skills for documentation
