Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with personal hygiene and grooming to ensure patient dignity.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois CNA certification and active license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients safely.
- CPR and BLS certification preferred.
