Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Document patient progress, behaviors, and changes in condition in the electronic health record.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Arizona State CNA License (AZ CNA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and a commitment to patient dignity and respect.
