Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and update medical records accurately.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and patient transfers safely.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in California.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
