Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
- Assist licensed nurses with medical procedures, treatments, and medication administration as directed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA or RN license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, especially for weekend shifts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
