Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility support for residents.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and families regarding patient conditions and updates.
- Document patient care activities and observations in electronic medical records accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff.
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs with a compassionate demeanor.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the state of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed (physical stamina required).
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
