Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and any changes in condition in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols strictly.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, LTC, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and availability for rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
