Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the charge nurse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the State of Arizona.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
