Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, obtain health histories, and conduct screenings accurately.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor medical treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Manage patient intake, including updating electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed staff under supervision.
- Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies and report stock shortages.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous clinical experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
