Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Greet patients and verify demographic information accurately to ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Clinical Duties: Assist providers with patient examinations, prepare treatment rooms, and perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests.
  • Medication & Admin: Administer medications as directed by providers and maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients and other healthcare team members.
  • Hygiene: Maintain strict adherence to sterilization and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for all patients and staff.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current and active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
