Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, weight, temperature) and prepare patients for examination.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and administer medications as directed.
- Manage patient flow, including check-in, check-out, and insurance verification.
- Maintain a clean, sterile environment and sterilize medical equipment properly.
- Update and accurately maintain electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients and coordinate with the front desk staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Valid Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
