Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established physician orders and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care and emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and execute emergency protocols effectively.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
