Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- mentor junior nursing staff and promote evidence-based practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- 2+ years acute care experience in ICU/ER/Telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
