As a Weekend Shift RN, you'll work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p) every Saturday and Sunday, with no overnight or holiday rotations. Our weekend-only positions offer exceptional work-life balance while maintaining full-time benefits and competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance
- Lead emergency response protocols and critical interventions
- Precept new staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license with minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in telemetry, med-surg, or ICU settings
- Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend-focused environment
