Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned units with critical assessment and intervention skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety protocols
- Provide patient/family education on disease management and discharge planning
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations and emergency response procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR system
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (MA RN)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry, ICU, or ER setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong communication skills with ability to work autonomously
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
