Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for assigned patients during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs and document patient responses in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Lead weekend staff huddles to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (ER, Med-Surg, or ICU preferred)
- Proven ability to work independently during low-staffing weekends
- Strong documentation skills in Epic or similar EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and patient advocacy abilities
