Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and care plans for weekend patient population
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate weekend care transitions
- Document clinical observations accurately in EMR systems
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention protocols
- Mentor rotating weekend staff during handoff processes
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with telemetry or ICU units preferred
