Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Administer medication as prescribed and track intake.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce loneliness.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental health.
- Communicate effectively with family members and medical professionals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CNA, HHA, or CNA license preferred but not always required.
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate, patient, and physically able to perform the job duties.
