Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs according to care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social engagements
- Light housekeeping and meal planning for client households
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
- Companion care including engaging conversations and recreational activities
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA/HHA certification
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings
- Experience working with clients with dementia or mobility challenges preferred
