Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care assistance to patients in assisted living and home care settings
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Administer medications under proper supervision and maintain medication logs
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Transport patients to medical appointments as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in acute care or geriatric settings
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Clear TB test and physical examination results
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
- Pass background check and drug screening
