Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, fillings, extractions, and restorative procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization processes
- Document patient information and maintain accurate clinical records
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and manage dental supply stock
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant X-Ray License
- CDA or RDA certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills and knowledge of dental procedures
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
