Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiography).
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient visits.
- Greet patients and manage patient records and charts accurately.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Perform office duties such as scheduling appointments and processing insurance claims.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or licensure (RDA/CDA preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and patient care.
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
