Responsibilities

- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service rendering
- Conduct thorough account follow-up on unpaid claims and denials
- Apply CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes with precision
- Generate monthly reports on billing performance metrics
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficiency in Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CMS guidelines and payer policies
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Associate's degree in Health Information Technology preferred
