Responsibilities

- Verify patient eligibility and benefits before service delivery
- Resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies through effective appeals
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure complete documentation
- Generate monthly billing reports for financial analysis
- Stay updated on CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a clinical setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of insurance claim processes and CMS guidelines
- Strong analytical skills for identifying billing patterns
