- Process medical claims with 95%+ accuracy using Epic and NextGen systems
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients across multiple payers
- Resolve claim denials and rejections within 5 business days
- Conduct thorough audits of coding (ICD-10, CPT) and documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
- Generate monthly reports on key performance metrics
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a clinic/hospital setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Expert knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in medical billing software (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
