Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and patient comfort
- Process and label specimens according to CLIA/HIPAA standards
- Operate automated laboratory equipment and maintain inventory
- Document patient data accurately in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Provide exceptional patient care during high-volume testing periods
- Collaborate with clinical teams for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with blood collection techniques and specimen processing
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
