Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures (orthopedic, neuro, general surgery)
- Maintain sterile environments per OSHA and AORN standards
- Manage surgical inventory and supply chain logistics
- Document procedural details in EMR systems
- Train junior technicians on new protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 2+ years of recent OR experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA and sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
