Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls and prioritize medical emergencies using clinical judgment
- Provide accurate triage advice via phone and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Document patient encounters meticulously in EMR systems
- Manage patient flow and communicate critical updates to clinical staff
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and resource utilization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years triage or emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
