Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories via phone, email, and in-person consultations
- Prioritize patient cases based on urgency and acuity using standardized triage protocols
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and emergency services for critical cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and facility-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years of emergency or urgent care nursing experience
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Experience with telehealth triaging preferred
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
