Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls using clinical judgment protocols
- Provide telephone triage for urgent care and emergency situations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Educate patients on home care and next steps
- Manage high-volume call centers efficiently
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active WI RN license (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years triage/ER experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional communication and assessment skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- BSN or higher preferred
