As a Caregiver, you will provide direct care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients adhere to prescribed medication schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes, accidents, or concerns to the Care Manager immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, patient, and empathetic personality.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Assistant is highly desirable.
