Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping duties.
- Administer medication reminders strictly as directed by the client’s physician.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or mental condition to supervisors.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social activities.
- Document care activities and observations accurately in the care log.
Qualifications
- Current CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
