Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and conversation to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily health logs.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Monitor client behavior and report any changes in condition to the care manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in home care, nursing, or a related field is a plus.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Genuine passion for helping the elderly or individuals with disabilities.
