Responsibilities

  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
  • Companionship & Engagement: Provide emotional support, engage clients in conversation, and participate in recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Mobility Support: Safely assist clients in transferring in and out of bed, chairs, or wheelchairs, as well as walking with assistance when needed.
  • Medication Management: Promptly remind clients to take their prescribed medications and ensure they are taken safely.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the client's dietary needs and preferences.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current Texas Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in home health care or caregiving is highly desirable.
  • Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable personal transportation required for client travel.
  • CPR/First Aid: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification must be obtained prior to start date.
