As a Caregiver with BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients while working in a supportive, flexible, and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with medication reminders and light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social activities, and shopping.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Document daily care activities and update client care plans accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Assistant is preferred but not required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desired.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
