Your Role
As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes. You will be a vital part of their daily routine, ensuring they remain safe, healthy, and happy.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medications and report any changes in health or medication reactions to the supervisor.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and activities to reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation as needed to maintain a safe living environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, social outings, and shopping trips.
- Communication: Keep families and supervisors informed about the client's daily status and any concerns.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CNA, HHA, or PCA Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Valid ID & Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
