Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments via telephone and telehealth platforms.
- Apply established clinical guidelines to prioritize patient needs and determine appropriate level of care.
- Document patient histories, symptoms, and triage decisions accurately in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians and care managers to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Provide clear patient education regarding symptoms, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and calm demeanor under pressure.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in triage, emergency nursing, or urgent care.
- CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS certification preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technology.
