Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection following strict protocols
- Process and label specimens with 100% accuracy for lab testing
- Maintain sterile equipment and infection control standards
- Verify patient identity and provide exceptional customer service
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA safety regulations
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of hands-on phlebotomy experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong venipuncture skills with all patient age groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with precise documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Valid Arizona driver's license (if required for mobile duties)
