Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming in a dignified and respectful manner.
- Assist with mobility issues, utilizing the company-provided equipment to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Medication reminders and documentation of daily health status.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals regarding client progress.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients (training provided).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
