Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary requirements.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and enhance quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately document care logs.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Perform light housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Genuine compassion for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
