Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take prescribed medications and monitor for any adverse reactions or changes in health.
- Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to reduce isolation and promote mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and changing linens to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social events as needed.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly check and record blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
Qualifications
- Valid Driverβs License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen actively.
- Compassion & Patience: A genuine, patient, and caring demeanor towards seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with mobility.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is highly preferred.
