Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients who require help.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or case manager immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Document daily care logs and medication schedules accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing to enroll in and complete our paid caregiver training program.
- Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or obtainable upon hire).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
