Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to ensure smooth clinic operations:
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist with 4-handed dentistry during procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records, including updating charts and maintaining accurate medical histories.
- Guide patients through their dental experience, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk reception area as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the treatment rooms and waiting area.
Qualifications
- Current Colorado State Dental Assistant License or RDA/CDA certification.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
