Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed to ensure their comfort and hygiene.
- Medication Management: Provide timely reminders for medication and document administration accurately.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing meals tailored to the client's dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, or accompany clients on walks to promote mental well-being.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social events using your personal vehicle.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical condition to our nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Compassionate Nature: A genuine desire to help others and a warm, patient demeanor.
- CPR/First Aid Certification: Current certification is preferred, or the willingness to obtain it upon hire.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of our screening process.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or in personal care is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
