Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health to supervisors.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations to reduce loneliness.
- Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed to maintain a safe environment.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document daily care logs and incident reports.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow established protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Certification: Current CNA or PCA license is a plus but not strictly required; on-the-job training provided.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or caregiving is highly valued.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
