Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is a plus but not always required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist clients as required.
