Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and document compliance.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as requested.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental health to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Previous experience in home care, nursing, or caregiving is preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist patients weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
