Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical cases
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Prepare and maintain sterilization equipment and infection control protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide oxide monitoring (certification required)
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- CPR/BLS certification and current X-ray license
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingualism preferred
