Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and provide emotional support to reduce loneliness.
- Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
- Mobility Support: Help clients move safely around their home or accompany them to medical appointments.
- Communication: Report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a kind, patient demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and punctuality.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
