Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Monitor client health and report any changes, concerns, or medical issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and errands as needed.
  • Administer medication reminders under the supervision of a licensed nurse when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Valid CNA or HHA certification is a plus but not always required for entry-level positions.

  • Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
